About: Dr. Krakauer works in the field of family medicine at St. Thomas. He completed training in both Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at Vanderbilt University. Dr. Art Wheeler

Specialty: Medical Research-- Allergy, Pulmonary, and Critical Care Medicine

When: Friday, October 24th, 2014, after school from 2:45 to 3:30

About: Dr. Wheeler is a Professor in the Division of Allergy, Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Vanderbilt University. He is a 1978 cum laude graduate of the University of Maryland, and a 1982 alpha omega alpha graduate of the University Maryland School of Medicine. He completed training programs in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care at Vanderbilt University. He serves as the Director of the Vanderbilt Medical ICU and the Vanderbilt Clinical Coordinating Center. Learn more here.

 

 

Mr. Nicholas Bauer

Specialty: Student in Medical School

About: Mr. Bauer currently goes to medical school, and he will discuss his experiences with us.

 

 

Dr. Li Zhang

 

Specialty: Ancient Medicine

When: Friday, December 5th, 2014, after school from 2:45 to 3:30

About: Dr. Li Zhang, LAC, is a Chinese acupuncturist with twenty years of experience. She was born and raised in a medical family in China, got her M.D. from Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), majored in acupuncture starting 1991, and received her masters degree in 1996. She has studied acupuncture and chinese herb medicine for eight years in China. Dr. Zhang also specializes in women's health, cancer, and depression. Learn more here.

 

 

Dr. Lori Breaux

 

Specialty: Pediatrics

About: Dr. Breaux has been in practice since 2000 and was welcomed to Brentwood Pediatrics in January 2009. She was born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee. She is married and her husband, Shelby, is a district manager with Johnson and Johnson. She and her husband currently have five children, Bre’Anca, William, Kendall, Christian and Evan. Dr. Shannon Skye

 

Specialty: Chiropractics

About: Dr. Shannon Skye, DC, is Dr. Greg Skye’s oldest daughter and grew up always wanting to be a chiropractor. She recently achieved this goal by finishing her Doctorate at Palmer College of Chiropractic. Dr. Shannon Skye is now a licensed and board certified chiropractor in our Brentwood office. Dr. Shannon Skye is certified in many different adjusting techniques such as: Gonstead, Thompson, B.E.S.T., Toggle Recoil, Activator, Logan Basic, extremity adjusting, Sacral Occipital Technique and Diversified.
